Eyup, thanks for coming to say hello! My name is Jodie, I'm 29 years old and I'm not sure if you can already tell already, but I'm a Yorkshire gal. I've become a writing addict and I am currently working towards this becoming my full time job. When I’m not spending time with my gorgeous Fiancé - yes, I'm now engaged!! I love writing about my thoughts, opinions and feelings on all things female related in this mad world we live in. I've been writing for just over a year or so now and I've had the pleasure of getting to collaborate with so many brilliant, inspiring and creative women. I've also managed to rack up a reader audience of over 1.3k subscribers on Substack and over 4k followers across Instagram and Threads. My Story
I’ve always been a creative person, always needed that outlet. Forever feeling like I’d explode if I didn’t let it all out. Drawing, painting, writing, you name it.. My first ever love was always acting but in 2018 during my last year at drama school, I took up my interest in writing. I wrote a full length play and since then didn’t really stop and somehow ended up thinking I’d be a great blogger.
There will be a lot of subjects I talk about which I don't feel are spoken about enough in the mainstream media. No negative energy here - only honesty, kindness and respect - if you can give me that, we’re gonna be besties! This will be a safe space, a place where there will be no judgement. I've always been an outspoken person, but haven't always embraced it. I've been on a journey of self love and I am honestly the best, most confident I've ever felt. I want this for you too! So, with all that being said; read on my darlings and I hope you subscribe for more and I’m always going to be open to suggestions/thoughts as I want to continue to grow as a person and a writer.
